Yes. The Free plan is free for your first month, then Ksh 350 per month. It comes with 2 vCPU, 2GB RAM, 2 apps and 1 managed database with 5GB of storage, and like every plan it runs 2 app replicas and 2 database replicas.

PostgreSQL, MariaDB or MongoDB, on every plan. Free includes 1 database, Growth 2, Business 3 and Pro 5, with 5GB, 10GB, 20GB and 30GB of database storage respectively. The storage on App Hosting plans is database storage: your apps run as containers whose local files reset on each deploy, so anything you need to keep belongs in the database.

Every app runs as 2 replicas behind a load balancer, so if one replica fails or is restarted during a deploy, traffic keeps flowing to the other with no downtime. Databases run as 2 replicas too: a primary, and a standby on a separate machine that takes over if the primary fails. This is included on every plan at no extra cost.

Yes. Builds stream their logs live, and every deployment keeps its build log. Runtime logs show what your app prints as it runs, and the Metrics tab charts CPU, memory, disk and network for anything from the last 15 minutes to the last 30 days, alongside disk usage.

Yes. Add your domain on the app’s Domains tab, prove you own it with a DNS record, and we issue an SSL certificate for it automatically. Every app also gets a free .live.chajio.cloud address with SSL.

Yes. We accept M-Pesa, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and bank transfers, and every plan is priced in Kenyan shillings. M-Pesa is the quickest option for Kenyan customers.

Yes. It works the same way: connect GitHub, push your code, and we build and run it, with managed databases, logs, metrics and one-click rollbacks. The difference is that it is built for Kenya, with prices in Kenyan shillings, M-Pesa payments and a support team in Nairobi.

App Hosting is fully managed: you push code, we handle servers, builds, SSL, and scaling. VPS gives you a raw server with full root access where you manage everything yourself.
